On July 15, Boston-based artist Katie Southworth was featured in the magazine of her alma mater, Colby College. The article, titled “A Cause for Color”, by Claire Sykes, touches upon the experiences that fuel Southworth’s passion for art, the way that she found her signature style, and the mission behind her pieces. For Southworth, “it means so much to be featured in the Colby Magazine for [her] art career” because Colby College, “provided [her] with the education [she] didn’t even know [she] needed at the time to heal, discover [her] artistic voice, and ultimately, find [her] purpose in life”.
